Writing rules

  • State the jurisdiction and the limits of the claim.
  • Do not convert a directory estimate into an official citywide price.
  • Do not treat a credential as proof of a specialty or personal fit.
  • Distinguish therapy, psychiatric care, peer support, case management and crisis response.
  • Do not promise insurance reimbursement or a clinical outcome.
  • Use direct service links and dates for information likely to change.

Ownership and commercial interests

Austin Wellness Center LLC owns this publication and Marsha Lowes Psychotherapy. The featured-therapist page is not represented as an independent review. Links to Marsha’s practice use referral measurement parameters so the publisher can distinguish publication traffic; the link does not change the price of any service.

No therapist can purchase placement on this site. If that policy changes, paid material will be labeled before publication.

Review and correction

Substantive pages show the latest review date. Urgent contacts, license facts and quoted program fees receive priority because errors in those subjects carry greater consequences. A correction that materially changes a conclusion should be dated and described on the affected page.

Correction requests may be sent to marsha@marshalowespsychotherapy.com. Include the page address and a primary source when possible.
